how to upgrade to 2.4 with costum fields

is it possible to upgrade to use the costum fields interface?

i currently use:

VERSION: 2.2.1-237 install from iso goautodial

Yes it's possible. Just follow the instructions here to get the 2.4 SVN:

sorry the old upgrade was very simple on the goautodial site, but i cannot understand how to upgrade this time.

i login as root on my server and put svn checkout svn://svn.eflo.net:3690/agc_2-X/trunk
in it and hes loading all data.

now how to use this ?

ok i have upgrade succesfully with:


login as root

svn checkout svn://svn.eflo.net:3690/agc_2-X/trunk


then all files are in the directory:usr/src/astguiclient/trunk
so then
Run install.pl script:

perl install.pl

Don't forget to answer "Y" when asked "Copy sample configuration files to /etc/asterisk/?"

Upgrade the Mysql Asterisk database:

mysql -pvicidialnow asterisk

\. /usr/src/astguiclient/trunk/extras/upgrade_2.4.sql

quit

its done

Rebuild the Asterisk conf files (Admin -> Servers -> Vicidial)
set to y

finally reboot and you have the latest vicidial 2.4
