Remote agents not able to log into Vdremote.php

Hello,
Whenever the remote agents try to log into vdremote.php page, they are greeted by the message "This remote agent does not exist: |admin|".

I went through of the posts and found out that it was a bug in version 2.0.4 and was fixed in later versions.
But the VICIdial version I am using is 2.2.0 rc7.
and the astguiclient i am using is 2.0.5.

Please guide me through this.

I just tested this and was not able to reproduce your error, are you sure they are configured properly with an associated ViciDial User?

Such a big fool I am .

For testing purpose I had logged in as admin in web console.
and on the same browser I was trying vdremote.php, No wonder it showed remote user admin not found.

regret for your time you wasted on it.
