hi, guys i have a vicidial multi server setup are:

1 - DB/wer Server
2- Asterisk/vicidial

VERSION: 2.4-283
BUILD: 100929-1203
© 2010 ViciDial Group
Asterisk 1.4.35-vici-rc1
Dahdi -Current
Ubuntu 8.04 LTS

Now as i see it on the real tiem screen on teh campaing i got like 12 agents dialing and i put the ratio on 4.0 , drop calls at 20sec and chnage leads dutring operation adn im still getting slow contact ratio- currently running on AMD mode outbound calls

-unusual sometimes i see on the current active calls and calls ringing like only 8 is the value but my agents is more than 8 its 12 and i have ration of 4.0- does this realtime will not reflect the eact values of my 12 agents x ratio 4.0 which suppost to have a call of 48 calls in total..

any fault and problems with my setup- i already set both the asterisk dialer ot 80 trunks and max call per second into : 50

but still teh call flow is slow...any idea on this guys...? or suggestions to fasten my calls and contact rate with calls..

What happens if you don't use AMD?

You know it's only a about 70% accurate and adds delay to all calls getting to agents right?

@mflorell

Yes i keep getting 1 minute to 5 minutes agents waiting for calls, i havent tried yet not using
the AMD. Probably ill test it now and see the outcome and difference between the two setup.

Is sangoma netbordder CPA better setup for this..?

Yes, Sangoma CPA is much better suited for this, 90-98% accuracy, and extremely low delay if any since the processing is done in parallel to the call instead of in-line like with AMD.

Watch your CLI and find out what is happening to the calls. Are you seeing the word "congestion" at all?

Drop calls at 2 seconds (perhaps 5, but not higher than that).

Calls per second at 2 or 3, NOT higher than 5 unless you have DISCUSSED with your VOIP provider that you are using a dialer. This will seem like it should be bad, but actually is "smooths out" the connections quite a bit, in the end it can remove "Congestion" as well as result in less dropped calls. (Also: you have a small room, anything more than 5 calls per second would only be necessary if you are broadcast dialing)

Also in the CLI try:
Code: Select all
sip show channels
and learn to identify which calls are "agents in conferences" and which are "ringing outbound asterisk calls" and which are "live". Then compare the sip show channels output to the numbers you see in the vicidial real-time screen. (Then the question is whether Vicidial is losing track of calls or if it actually has close to the correct number of "ringing"/"live" calls according to asterisk.)

also be sure you have not tried to modify any of the settings for "adapt" (which are ignored in ratio, but for some inexplicable reason cause serious slowdowns in operation when used). For instance: "Adapt Intensity Modifier" (note the word "Adapt") should never be anything but "balanced" unless you are USING Adapt and know that that setting does! LOL
