Ways to Help

Hi, it will be nice to have a sticky with ¨Ways to Help¨ the vicidial project.

I have read a old post from 0p3r saying donating 5% of the profit with vicidial projects, thats a nice one, but how can someone donate to the vicidial project? i have been looking around in the forum and the wiki for this information but i was not able to find it.

Also paying bounties is a niceway to help, i found a awesome feature request about Quality Control, but just one person was sponsoring that feature, maybe other people dont even know they can help like that.

Some other people cant give money away, but can help with something else, like translating or much simpler, promoting vicidial with a banner on their website.

Purchase the official manuals wich are extremely helpful and it is a way to help the project.

Some people maybe can help with code, i know people send patches to mantis so they can fix issues or add little features.

Anyway, the idea is to have easy access to information about helping you to improve vicidial.

William quoted me on the Quality Control feature which I accepted. The feature should be done shortly and I am more than happy to make it available to everyone if Matt wants to include it. I agree with you.... everyone should give back SOMETHING to the project.

regardless of whether it "gets included", the client has given permission to publish it so it will be available even before it is (if it is). even if only parts of it and "the method" as a manual, the ability to Quality Control is obviously a growth tool. and the use of this method will (I'm sure) point the completion of the QC project within Vicidial as well.

Hopefully it'll just be "plopped in" when finished.
