Firefly echo

Postby enjay » Mon Jun 19, 2006 12:42 pm

Anyone have experience troubleshooting echo issues between two Firefly instances connected to the same network/asterisk server? I am using vicidial to make the call between softphones (as Im waiting for T1's to be installed) and Im experiencing an obscene amount of echo. Any recommendations?

Are you sure it's Firefly that is causing the problem?

Have you tried another client like idefisk?

I have attempted using another SIP softphone 3CX and I do not experience the echo at all.

Very interesting, well Firefly has been dropped and is unsupported now so it might be best to stop using it anyway. I have noticed other issues with it's functionality and have switched our softphone users to IDEfisk and they are doing very well on that client so far.
