Hi everybody.
we're using vicidialnow 1.3 for outbound dialing with asterisk 1.2 With 2 servers (1 CORE 2 QUAND 4gig ram) for the vicidial and (1 CORE 2 QUAND 4gig ram 500gig Hdd
for Database.)with Eyebeam as a softphone with 10 seaters.
firefox as webrowser.
Connection to the Voip provider is an sip Trunk using the G729 codec ;
Below is our sip trung conf :
host=ourvoipprovider.

all calls are recorded to my database server.
i have recording option set to "ALLCALLS"

It happens that some agents use manuel calls using EYEBEAM as a softphone.at that moment i can't get any recording going to my database server.
how can i automatically have all the calls taking manuelly getting recorded.without having all the time to click on the record option in EYEBEAM.

If your agents are not using Vicidial to make calls, Vicidial cannot record their calls.

But since your agents are using ASTERISK to make calls, you can create a dialplan that monitors these calls. Remember, though, that these recordings may be difficult to manage, as there will be no links in Vicidial to get to them.

I don't have time to show you an asterisk recording dialplan right now, but someone else may and there is A LOT of help on this topic if you use that cool google search engine. The function is Monitor (when asterisk monitors a call, it stores a recording file). But naming the file and locating it in a place where you can find it and listen to it ...

I highly recommend that you modify your dial plan to disable manual calls outside Vicidial. Require the agents to use a manual dial campaign within vicidial. Then your recordings will be automated and linked to leads in vicidial for easy perusal and you will also CAPTURE each number dialed as a lead and can have the agents put in detailed information regarding each lead. they can also then be re-dialed automatically based on disposition!

in 2.4 you can set up a special call menu to record calls that are logged in ViciDial even if they are not placed through the agent interface.

Thank you WILLIAM .will do that researsh .(Any wiki how to setup a manuel dial compagne? and how to modify dial plan to disable manual calls outside Vicidial.

After you upgrade, enable custom dialplan entries in the System Settings, then take a look at the defaultlog Call Menu. I would also suggest reading the comments in the agi-NVA_recording.agi code.
