specific ip not working in multiserver setup

Postby xysm » Fri Dec 08, 2006 12:03 pm

Hello..

i have a multi-server setup with lots of dialer boxes, and have a problem with one of the boxes (dialer03). when users try to login using this box, they get the "noone is in their session" error.. however, if i change the ip of the box it works...

anyone else ever have such an issue?

its not being blocked by the db server, i did try a 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'

i have no idea what would be causing this.. i know i could just use a different ip, but i would rather solve this then put a bandaid on it.. :)

thanks for any help you guys can give..

are you sure the extensions are registered to that box?
what version of VICIDIAL are you using?

can you clarify the question?

ok, i have 15 boxes, with ips .101 to .115

all registered to each other.. the problem is specific to .103

they are all setup the same using a ks.

i am using version 2.0.2b1

and what i mean, is say i take down .101 and change .103 to .101, and adjust astguiclient.conf, iax.conf and extensions.conf to reflect the new ip. the box works just fine.

now if i take .101, which was working, and do the same changes to make it .103, it doesnt work..

the server exists in the servers table, i tried deleting it and readding it.. still nothing..

does this explain it better?

have you also changed your phones to reflect the ip of the server?

that is correct, i have set phones for each ip... so when testing 103 i would use phone21-30. when testing 101 use phone1-10

== Manager 'sendcron' logged on from 127.0.0.1
> Channel SIP/phone30-00a97760 was answered.
-- Executing MeetMe("SIP/phone30-00a97760", "8600095") in new stack
== Parsing '/etc/asterisk/meetme.conf': Found
-- Created MeetMe conference 1023 for conference '8600095'
-- Playing 'conf-onlyperson' (language 'en')
== Manager 'sendcron' logged off from 127.0.0.1

then after 40 seconds or so, get the noone in your session error. and no output reflecting this in the CLI

This is most likely a server_ip setting issue somewhere in your database. double-check all settings in admin.php as well as your /etc/astguiclient.conf file for that server.
