Then report the model # of the motherboard so others can follow
Then when you need more servers, you can just use the built-in clustering system with Vicibox Redux. And honestly if you have 100 employees, you need to have a dedicated separate dialer system that is in no way linked to or dependent upon any other system.
Oh, had to comment on one other thing, I agree with you as far as not having the systems dependent on one another, which we don't but I'd have to disagree with the statement that they should in no way be linked to each other, as that is part of the beauty of creating the trunks and associated dialplans, if I want to route a inbound call from our dialer to one of our financial specialists I just xfer the call to their pbx extension, no need to have them equipped with a dialer extension on their phone. I like the fact that we can link them together, but I do agree that they should be independant and not have to rely on each other for inbound or outbound traffic out of the premesis..Maybe I miscommunicated when I described the current configuration as far as relying on each other for connectivity..

While you are mastering, remember that Vicidial's face has changed dramatically. There was a time that scratch was the ONLY install. Then came VicidialNOW which simplified installation for MANY users. Now Vicibox Redux simplifies ... (wait for it) ... MULTI-SERVER installation. All necessary steps scripted out and automated. And you'd have a stock (read: upgradeable at will) system. New toys created by Matt could be installed with a simple "svn up".
Just a thought. Mastering does not mean it needs to be different than everyone else's ... right? (Oh: and in theory the new vicibox redux would install itself as a 2nd dialer on your existing system nicely ...

I just wanted to share my solution to this issue that we were also having recently. I was using Linux Mint Cinnamon 16 and the default Firefox install. The systems using Mozilla were experiencing the issue but those using Chrome were not. I believe there is some issue with maintaining constant communication with the browser and server. Maybe some kind of timeout setting or similar. Either way, using Google Chrome or Opera solved the issue on the affected systems. Not sure why it started happening, my guess is after a Apache upgrade or something. Worked fine for months before issues started happening for us.
