Sam, you've been here a while so you should know:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

__________

Also: Please share with us which getting started manual or tutorial you are using (one from the installer you're using or the Vicidial Manager's Manual ...?).

If you are not using one, you should be. they are Free after all. GoAutoDial has one, Vicibox has one, and of course Vicidial has one on EFLO.net.

You could also post your CLI output from the attempted call. It may be handy to know if your trunk is registered with your VOIP provider ...?

Read the getting started manual for GoAutoDial.

You must have a sip provider to make calls.

GoAutoDial provides a trunk for you, but those terms would be on the GoAutoDial site and in the getting started manual.

It is not necessary to manually modify any configuration files when using Vicidial. But it is necessary to have a VOIP Provider (which will be added in Admin->Carriers according to instructions in the Managers Manual available at EFLO.net or the Getting Started manual from GoAutoDial).
