Hi,
Noticed a strange behaviour regarding the SIP trunk.
While my agents were making outbound calls, I made changes to my sip.conf and extensions.conf. and entered wrong username and password. Then, following commands were issued :
sip reload
extensions reload
reload
But still the call flow was not affected and agents kept on making calls as usual. The 'sip show registry' showed 'request sent'
So, is it a normal behaviour?? Obviously, rebooting the server caused calling stopped immediately !!

Once youre authenticated through the auth packets there is not need for the SIP connection to check again for auth unless it needs to re-register. All you did on reboot was re-negotiate with the new SIP credentials.
