X100P Card Drivers and zttest accurecy ????????

Postby abhasbajpai » Fri Dec 15, 2006 8:08 am

hi
previously i was using ztdummy
but due to voice problem i switched over to x100p card, with softphones for timing.
the card i got was a motorola 8260 chipset card
now when i put it in server it was detected and may be installed
as when i do
modprobe wcfxo it probed and
lsmod also shows it

Module Size Used by
wcfxo 16928 0
zaptel 196740 79 wcfxo
crc_ccitt 6081 1 zaptel

even
/sbin/ztcfg -vvvvvvvvvvvv
shows this

Zaptel Configuration
======================

Channel map:

Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)

1 channels configured.

Changing signalling on channel 1 from Unused to FXS Kewlstart

so this shows its configured
but when i do
/sbin/lspci

03:01.0 RAID bus controller: Adaptec ServeRAID Controller (rev 02)
06:01.0 Communication controller: Motorola: Unknown device 5608
06:02.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corp. 82557/8/9 [Ethernet Pro 100] (rev 08)

now my problem is that after some time of calling
the zttest accuressy is redused to 99.98% and some time to 99.35%
is it due to unknow device or some thing else
please help me
BTW i am using
asterisk-1.2.12.1
zaptel-1.2.9.1
astguiclient 2.0.1
one more thing
what kind of headsets are best to use with softphone+asterisk+ vicidial setup

when you type "modprobe wcfxo" what happen?

are you using valid X100P? or just an ordinary motorolla modem? read http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/X100P

can you post the last output on "dmesg" regarding zaptel or ztdummy?

it doesn't matter if in lspci is not reading your X100P as long as in lsmod it is running and in dmesg is working..

have you tried to test the server?

ya i am trying
but when timing flactuate the voice quality suffers
and is there is any significant to
adjust RX and TX gains in zapata.conf
if the x100p card is only used for timing perpous with softphones
as in my case the agents can hear the voice clearly but some times
there voice dosnt reach the customer.
what should i do for this problem ????

yes you can do that try this site:

http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Aste ... hotraining

what codec are you using for softphone and for voip? does your internet connection is stable..

also make sure you set your timer frequenzy is set to 1000HZ
