How to place calls on Goautodial

Postby turalo » Thu May 05, 2011 4:48 am

Hi guys, I have this problem already for 2 weeks, I'm tryng to set a default callcenter case, with 5 callers/phones. I have installed Goautodial on a local server. Everything went well,I have it up and runing. I have set the trunk info in the default enabled goautodialtrunk, I have set the campaings, and lists, everything good sofar. but when I try to call from the agent screen it says :

I'm sorry that's not a valid extension, please try again.

My trunk is registred with the voipprovider.

here the log :

some funny stuff here :

I have the same problem.

exten => _9XXXXXXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _9XXXXXXXXXXX,2,Dial(${SIPgoautodial}/${EXTEN:1},,tTor)
exten => _9XXXXXXXXXXX,3,Hangup

I am on Cyprus-so for pattern I use(country code -3 digits,area code-2 digits ,and for phone number -5 digits-all together 11 digits),

and I check on CLI that trunk is registered.

Consider getting a different carrier. I do not know if Gardo's GoAutoDial trunk can dial into that country. Or ask Gardo ...

my settings :

Postby turalo » Thu May 05, 2011 9:54 am

my trunk looks like this :

[goautodial]
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
allow=G729
type=friend
username=6104
secret=xxxxxxx
host=xxxxxxxx
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=trunkinbound
qualify=yes
insecure=very

in the dialplan I had this as default :

exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${SIPgoautodial}/${EXTEN:1},,tTor)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

but I have removed it, because I dont need any dialplans,
my carrier accepts any number, problem is, that the call does not leave my machine. So this has nothing to do with carrier nor with trunk, it's not even going sofar. If there was a problem in there it must be shown in the log right? in the sip debug.
I'm setting this in the Netherlands, and I'm planning to call in the NEtherlands.

I have contacted goautodial, they asked me 1600$ to solve it remotely, I dont have any problem with paying this, but I have a principal problem with this, because my feeling tells me that they have by purpose set this thing not to work sothat everybody that does not know this system verywell goes to them and pays them, so then this is not really a open source, well the coude is open, but it's not an fully fare open source.
Like elastix, trixbox etc... they call it open source, and it works from the start, but this goautodial doesnot work, and I'm not doing this things for the first time, I have installed ASterisk systems and workend with other telecom systems for more than 6 years.
So I told my self, I will just for principal reason not pay goatodial and find the way out and show it to others.
So guys please help me out here. Have anybody ever used goautodial succesfully from scratch? like after installing the iso edited trunks loaded leads and started calling? without playing and repairing the code?

goautodial trunk

Postby striker » Thu May 05, 2011 10:00 am

i think the goautodial trunk have only 1$ initial to make calls to us

better u purchase a new trunk or contact the goautodial for the recharge of ur goautodial sip trunk and also check with then whether u can call the destination.

I think you didnot read my post :)
I dont need go autodial, I'm a carrier my self, I sell trunks to hundreds of companies. I dont need to buy a trunk :)
I just set ip of my own host, and user pass for the acount, and it's registered. the issiu is not in the trunk, it is in the system, system does not even go sofar. it's not reaching the trunk, somehow it sees the phonenumber that I dial as a extension nuber. In place of just sending the number out to the carrier it stops and says this is not the right extension ...

dialling outside

Postby striker » Thu May 05, 2011 10:33 am

as per the cli 0658827088 this is the no u dialled ( if wrong correct me)

to dial a any number via your sip trunk you need a dialplan following dialplan will allow your number to dial outside
assuming 065 as your common coutry code for all numbers.
so the numbere which starts with 065 will dial follow this dialplan and dial through ur sip trunk

exten => _065XXXX.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _065XXXX.,2,Dial(${SIP/goautodial}/${EXTEN},,tTor)
exten => _065XXXX.,3,Hangup

but I have removed it, because I dont need any dialplans,
my carrier accepts any number, problem is, that the call does not leave my machine. So this has nothing to do with carrier nor with trunk, it's not even going sofar. If there was a problem in there it must be shown in the log right? in the sip debug.
I'm setting this in the Netherlands, and I'm planning to call in the NEtherlands.

i dont no why u removed this , unless u map ur no to dialplan u cant dialout

and again it says : that's not a valid extension.

and there is also a very funy thing going on, the thing is when I change carrier settings, or dialplan in the carrier, it's not directly accepted,
I must reboot the machine to get it to work, even doing reload at cli does not help.

and here what I see when I use the dial plan you suggested :

carrier sttings and dialplan entry

Postby striker » Thu May 05, 2011 11:27 am

may i know what no u dialled while using my dialplan.

[May 5 12:11:35] == Starting Local/8600051@default-df17,1 at default,910658827088,1 failed so falling back to exten 's'
[May 5 12:11:35] == Starting Local/8600051@default-df17,1 at default,s,1 still failed so falling back to context 'default'

this shows u dialled 910658827088 but the dialplan allows only no startinng and matching 065...
or go to campaign select Y for omit phone code. and submit.
did you placed my dialplan in default context in extension.conf or in vicidial admin=>carrier=>dialplan entry?

did u reload the asterisk ?
once u did both dial 0658827088 from any of your extension or from agent screen

didnot work :(, and now it adds 91 to the number, so something goes wrong at the dialplan.

but this call never left this server, I'm sure cause I cannot see anything at the other side.

May 5 15:17:32] == Starting Local/8600051@default-fd82,1 at default,910658827088,1 failed so falling back to exten 's'

Code: Select all
exten => _91XXXXXX.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91XXXXXX.,2,Dial(${SIPgoautodial}/${EXTEN:2},,tTor)
exten => _91XXXXXX.,3,Hangup

the :2 in EXTEN:2 strips off the 91. So the original number is sent to the trunk for dialing.

does not help :(

Maybe that this iso which they have on their website is not good ?
this is second download, I have downloaded it on 2 cd's separately, sothat it's not because of some missing files, but it's not that. there is something wrong in the code.

Did you use "update_server_ip" in CLI when you install and change your GoAutodial server IP?

Also did you put the correct dial prefix in campaign details?

It is much better to buy manager manual in eflo.net this will keep you out alot of troubles.

I have the manager manual, but it's not really about the goautodial, it's about vicidial, I do understand that we are talking about 2 same things :) but still I wanted to say that I see little differance, and I dont know how far is the code diference, I have used the howto in the manual, but that didnot help, all same results.

I have also updated Ip, set external IP in sip.conf etc... all that stuff I did,
in the campaign prefix I have removed and set to X.
still I'm getting 1 as prefix in de dialplan somehow :(
and still getting same error, extension not exist...

unbelivable :(

This is the process:

You get the CD from either GoAutoDial or Vicibox. (Both are valid installers for Vicidial)

You follow the instructions for the one you downloaded (GoAutoDial has a Getting Started Guide on their Wiki, Vicibox has a Walk-Thru PDF on the site).

When done, you begin the tutorials in the Vicidial Manager's Manual (because you are done with the installer).

If you change your IP address, you must either use the on-screen method in GoAutoDial or the script in the /usr/share/astguiclient folder.

When working with any of these, report your first problem, along with the manual you are in, and the page number/line number where you hit your snag.

And we help you past it, to keep going. 8)

I have

Postby turalo » Sat May 07, 2011 2:36 am

I have don as you say,
downloaded goautodial,
installed it without errors.
after that I logged in the admin part, left IP as is 192.168.1.2 by default.
I have set the gateway, sothat the ip conmmunication is complete, I have done update server ip after that. so if I ping any website it works fine.
I have edited campaigns alists,
then edited the by default enabled goautodial sip trunk, set there my own info.

then logged in as agent, with zoiper, from agent interface selected manual dial, and tried to call my mobile, get error " this extension does not exist" somehow the system thinks that my mobile is an extension.
later I have tried also adding new trunk separately, activating it etc...
trunks work fine, cause I can see succesful registration etc...
so it's not in trunks, the call progress does not reaches the part of trunks.

you need to adjust your "dial plan" entries. this is what translates what you dial to something that can be dialed on a trunk.

it's ALL extensions, of course.

you dial 9XXXXXXXX and the system uses the "9" (or whatever you set up in the dial plan entries) to choose your trunk, then after choosing the trunk it sends the rest of the number through the trunk to the carrier.

So you dial "9-1-555-555-5555" and the system uses the 9 to choose your trunk, then sends 15555555555 to the SIP/XXXX carrier you defined for that dialplan.

Show your dialplan and a sample phone number you are dialing ... 8)

well

Postby turalo » Mon May 09, 2011 8:39 am

the number I'm trien to call is : 0658827088
this is what I have in the dialplan now :

exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,2,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:1}@goautodial,,tTo)
exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,3,Hangup

but I had tried different types, no diferance, also without dialplan.
btu still same.

default,910658827088

But the system is adding "91" to the front. So modify your dial plan extension to
Code: Select all
_91XXXXXXXXXX
for all three lines. and be sure the "EXTEN" variable is "EXTEN:2" which will remove the "91".
