Hi all,
am using the older version of vicidial and askterisk GUI Client.
Now I wanna assign a single agent to multiple Campigns for i.e., the agent can take the inbound calls for the campaigns he assigned.
The application shud prompt a msg to the agent that he has a inbound call and once he clicks okay the screen should be changed to that particular campiagn.
So, I need some suugestions about the changes that i need to do for this and also any issues that may arrive if i allot a single user to two or more campaigns.
waiting for ur valuable suggestions
regards

You can have one agent logged into multiple Inbound groups, not multiple campaigns.
What version of astguiclient are you using?
What do you mean by wanting the screen to change depending on the campaign?

Hi,
Iam using the version 1.3X of asteriskGUI client (very old).
sorry that i had mentioned multiple campaigns in place of multiple Inbound groups.
Actually i had modified the code in the Client so that the agent screen varies from campaign to campaign.
I.e. when the user logs in the campaign ABC the agent screen contains some fields ( let us assume 10 fileds), if the user logs into other campaign XYZ it may contain some extra fields . The campaign specific data will vary.
Now, wat i want to do is change the screen to the specific campaign of which the agent is attending the inbound call. if the inbound usergroup varies the screen shud change on click of a buttton.
I have one solution to it and am wrkg on it.
mail me if u have any other alternative/logic
Thanx & regards

Hi
thats very good,
how can you able to switch over multiple inbound groups
how are u identifying that which call coming in, from which group, and how are u toggle between groups ?.
if this working with you, contribute to Vicidial, so may be others also
can use
