Feature request: Call recording management

is this recomended to do in production environment,
or test in test installation and move to production

what is the recomendations.

Feel free to take a look at the patch yourself. I am currently using it in a production environment. The changes are pretty easy to understand. Even if you ftp off your recordings to a diff webserver, this set of patches will still work with minor modifications.

What would be nice in the future is a unified AST_CRON_mix_recording script that reads VARREC_format to determine what format to encode and perhaps some VARFTP_??? stuff for those that offload recordings via ftp.
