ok. you have g729 installed. exactly what do you need help with?

at this point you need to change "allow=xxxx" to "allow=g729" when setting up a connection with someone you want to use g729 (carrier or agent or both).

Yes i see that g729 is already loaded, but i keep on getting this.

Already added allow=g729 on the carrier.

Now i'm getting this message:

[May 23 09:27:48] NOTICE[4494]: chan_sip.c:15147 handle_request_invite: Call from '' to extension 'xxxxxxxxxxx' rejected because extension not found.

Can you point me to a documentation or howto on setting up inbound trunk.

i have a question.

when issuing the show translation

how do we know if its loaded in a asterisk?

check the first post. the codec will have numbers if its loaded properly. at the same time it will tell you when you start asterisk.
