Anybody used this yet? Does it work as cleanly as it seems like it should? (And have ANY of you thanked Gardo after it worked? LOL)

Kernel Version 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5.goPAE (SMP)

I used the instructions by Gardo to upgrade to 2.1

But no matter what I do..the AGENT screen does not show all the icons..

IE...Resume, Requeue...

I tried to manually place the images in the folder and still. Only get a few icons.

Tried the patch..still nothing ..Any advice would gladly be appreciated.

Looks like you might have missed some steps. What version of GoAutoDial are you using before doing the upgrade?

Can we update vicidial (Scratch Installed on Hosted Server) and updated via SVN to GoAutodial System with above said method?

The instructions only works for GoAutoDial CE 2.0 upgrading to 2.1.

Hi, i want to upgrade my 2.0 to 2.1 but before i upgrade i just want to ask if i'll not lose all the data in my current setup ? tnx

While I have not personally upgraded a box, the point of the upgrade is to KEEP all your data. No loss.

That being said: before you upgrade (and nightly even without upgrading) execute the backup script! And get that data off the box via ftp! 8-)

Code: Select all: perl /usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_backup.pl

This should be in your crontab for nightly backup:

Code: Select all: ## Vicidial Backup - without web files or sounds (change if you modify web files or recordings) ## Leave before midnight in case of "emergency backup" during the day ... don't overwrite LAST backup, make a new one! 45 23 * * * /usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_backup.pl --without-web --without-sounds
