Dropped calls Audio message

Postby will_brook » Tue Sep 20, 2011 4:38 am

Hi,

I'm using VICIdial version 2.4-330a, Build 110815-2155, built from ViciBox_Redux.i686-3.1.10 CD.

I'm trying to configure dropped calls to play an audio message. I've selected Drop Action = AUDIO, and I've set a pre-recorded WAV file under Safe Harbor Audio (I can listen to this message via the audio chooser). But after I initiate a dropped call all I hear is a beep and the call finishes. I'm testing this by putting my test account into Pause, so this prevents a connect to the agent but the customer has already picked up.

I've set the Drop call Seconds to 3, and the drop percentage limit to 2%. I'm currently running way above my normal drop rate at 54% because of these tests, but the campaign hasn't gone live yet.

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Many Thanks

Will

Looks like your audio is not a 16bit/8k/pcm/mono/wav file.

Brillant - that's fixed it! A rookie error on my part.

Many Thanks
