Hello,
Does anyone have a diagram of the mysql tables underlying Vicidial?
I was able to generate a basic diagram using mysql workbench, but that doesn't show the relationships between tables.
Can anyone point me toward an automated way of showing the table relationships or share their diagram?
The end goal I seek is to generate custom reports.
Thanks,
Malik

There currently is no relational diagram, but most of the fields that have the same name in different tables are linked, like:
- lead_id
- user
- campaign_id
- uniqueid

if there were a way to generate a diagram in a mediawiki i could open a page to several users to construct one on viciwiki and move it to the Vicidial Wiki when it's done (and not been attacked). But I'm not sure there's an appropriate language to allow collaboration on such an item.

I am in the exact same boat. I am also using the workbench to try and figure things out. It is tedious at best.
Is there better information on the tables and relationships in the pay-for documentation?

In order to break through the tedium I have created an excel spreadsheet which shows all of the field names that appear in more than one table along with the table names that they appear in.
I think this will help with mapping the database, but I haven't started mapping it yet.
If you would like a copy of the spreadsheet, private message me with your email address and I will send it to you.
Cheers, Malik

You can always post it to the Issue Tracker as well if you want.

I just created an account for the Issue tracker, but I am not sure where to upload the excel sheet.
Any direction that can be provided would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Malik

Create a new issue and add it as an attachment to that issue.
