system goes for a restart
my asterisk version is 1.2.14
i wonder where exactly is the issue
is it with the card , OS, kernel version or some wrong installation step

I haven't used FC6, but I would recommend trying an older kernel, something like 2.6.17.11 I have found is very stable.

hello
as per your suggestion i have used kernel 2.6.17.11 but the issue is same
the steps i am follwing are
1)inserted the card into the server having fedora core 6
2)then we compiled 2.6.17.11 as per scratch install
3)-
cd ./zaptel-1.2.12
- make clean
- make linux26
- make install
- cd ../libpri-1.2.4
- make clean
- make
- make install
cd../asterisk-1.2.14
make clean
make
make install
4) then we installed the driver of x100p card in zaptel directory
5)then we did modprobe zaptel, modprobe wcfxo
6)after this configuration of the card in etc/zaptel.conf and /etc/asterisk/zapta.conf
please can someone let us know whether the steps we are doing are right or wrong do we have to do something else
thanks in advance

Hi
after 3rd step you should able to see the X100p driver installed already
i dont think this step required again
4) then we installed the driver of x100p card in zaptel directory
you can observer when you compiling Zaptel , you can see the card detection.
or you want to check the card installed or not , you can use zttool to test .

I have run the X100P as a timer on 3 different Asus Motherboards with P4-family processors in them. I would assume that all Asus boards would work.

I don't know the model numbers any more because they are all remote and in production. They were newer consumer-level Asus motherboards purchased in the last 6 months.
