Integration with CRM to fetch data automatically

Postby bghayad » Sun Feb 05, 2012 4:48 pm

Dears;

I am using Asterisk 1.4.39.1-vici that was installed using goautodial-ce-2.1-final.iso and I have a digium card Wildcard TDM410P (2 FXS and 2 FXO ports).

I would like to know the best method to acheive the following:

For each call (inbound or outbound), the CRM page to be fetched by the data automatically without need to click on the Web Form, and when the new call come, then to fetch the updated data for the new customer on the same window (in other words, not keep opening windows for each call, because after 10 calls, we will have a 10 windows and this is not good at all). How to acheive this?

Another thing: is it possible to be in the same frame (the agent interface and the CRM web page that will be openned)?

I know there is Get Call Launch that can be used, but how to avoid keep opening pages for each call?

Also what is the difference between CRM Popup Address and Web Form?

Regarding to Start Call URL: Why it can not be used in the Manual mode?

Appreciate the kindly help.

Regards

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

While you have listed your Installer (GoAutoDial) and your Asterisk Version (very helpful), you've left out a lot of information: the most important of which being your Vicidial Version with Build.

All that being said: :)

Web Form Target- This is where you can set the custom web page frame that the web form will be opened in when the user clicks on the WEB FORM button. Default is _blank.

If you want to keep it all in the agent interface, look into using a script with an IFrame.

You'll need to push the ( ? ) for the CRM Popup vs Web Form fields. I only put one of those in per post. :)

Thanks for the reply and kindly help.

The vicidial version and build is:
VERSION: 2.4-309a
BUILD: 110430-1642

The processor: Genuine Intel(R) CPU 2140 @ 1.60GHz, It is a physical Dell PC (it is not cloud and not virual).

If you want to keep it all in the agent interface, look into using a script with an IFrame.

* Any link or place that explain this? I readed the Manager manual and did not find enough explaination about it.

You'll need to push the ( ? ) for the CRM Popup vs Web Form fields. I only put one of those in per post.

* What do u mean by this push? And why u put one of those in per post?

Again, special thanks for support and kindly help.
