Dears;

What is the difference between Closer and Fronter? What each of them is meaning exactly?

Also about the Web Form:

VARhttp://www.website.com/search.php?ph ... umber--B--

What is the "A" and the "B" and why we put the "--"?
Any example that help to understand?

1) Welcome to the party! 8-)

2) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Fronter is the agent who is involved in the "Cold Call", makes initial contact and either attempts to sell or "Qualifies" the prospect. The Fronter then passes the call to the Closer either to attempt to sell when the Fronter Fails or to Make he sale after the Fronter has Qualified a prospect to avoid training Fronters to the Level of Closers (who ordinarily make more money, and of which there are generally fewer ... sometimes as few as 1 Closer to 20 Fronters).

--A--phone_number--B--

4) The --A-- and --B-- are delimiters. They are there to "absolutely identify" the text between them as a "field". This particular example will identify "phone_number" as the field an will collect that data from the script and replace the field with the data, so "phone_number" will not actually be in the URL, the data will be there instead. (If you did not understand any of that, you may want to look at hiring a programmer or php/web developer to help you out a bit, as this road could be a bit bumpy otherwise).

4) The --A-- and --B-- are delimiters.

Note: I have been for some years did not write php or asp, but I know them and yes I know why u mean. But my question here, why they place --A-- and --B--? Is it just to declare that the phone_number is a field and its value will be passed? Or the --A-- and --B-- are another variables? Actually using them does not give a mean unless they are meant to be a variable.

Another question: VAR, why it is used? Is it because we need to send variables in the link so we place VAR?

Thanks a lot for your help and advise.
