Hoping someone here can help me. I am having trouble configuring my Sangoma A108 card on a Vicibox installation.
I just installed Vicibox Redux, 3.1.15. This is the ISO I used (I had to remove the full link since I'm a first time poster and it will not let me include links in my message):
ViciBox_Redux.x86_64-3.1.15.iso
Installation of vicibox went great, and I'm able to login to the administration and agent login sections. I'm also able to get my SIP phones to login and connect.
I'm running into issues though trying to get the sangoma card configured properly. I'm hoping someone can double check my steps and possibly point out where I am going wrong. We've purchased both the manager and agent manuals, but I'm not seeing anything specific to getting this part setup.
Basically, here's what I've done:
1) Install the Sangoma A108 card in the server.
2) Install Vicibox 3.1.15. Followed phases 1, 1.5, and 2 as per this document: ViciBox_Redux_v3-Install.pdf
3) Ensured I could connect my soft phone, login, create a campaign, etc. All of that looks good.
4) Plugged a T1 into the Sangoma card.
5) Ran the command lspci. It shows the card, although it says a104 instead of a108P. Here is the output:
0c:04.0 Network controller: Sangoma Technologies Corp. A104d QUAD T1/E1 AFT card
6) Ran wancfg_dahdi to configure. Configured all 8 ports.
At the bottom of this message I put the output after configuring the ports and telling it to save everything. This is where I think things are going wrong, as it throws an error on the command sangoma_prid.
Starting sangoma_prid...OK
smg_ctrl: sangoma_prid failed to start
smg_ctrl: check /var/log/sangoma_mgd.log for errors
I do not have the sangoma_prid command in my installation. So, am I using the wrong commands to configure this thing? There is nothing in the sangoma_mgd.log file, and the same message output to the screen is all that was in /var/log/messages
I also did an smg_ctrl test, and it errors on the sangoma_prid command test:
- Code: Select all
vicidialtel1:~ # smg_ctrl test
Adding /usr/lib/sangoma_prid to library paths
smg_ctrl: Testing configuration files...
/usr/sbin/smg_ctrl: line 229: sangoma_prid: command not found
smg_ctrl: Failed
Do you have any suggestions? Should I be using a different command instead of wancfg_dahdi?
All help is greatly appreciated!
Output from wancfg_dahdi when I saved the settings:
