Me too. I have received numerous complaints recently, and since there is not really anything we can do about it we finally decided to deactivate private messaging on the board.

How about upgrading the board to a newer version or to smf?

We looked into doing that last year and ran into issues. Maybe we'll have time to try again this summer.
