Calls are not being recorded

Postby ckwall » Thu Feb 08, 2007 3:38 pm

I have everything else working just how i want it, except for one thing. I have my campaign set up to record all calls. Nothing is being recorded. I could use some help trying to troubleshoot this.

I have looked in:
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/DONE
/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/ORIG

There is nothing there after a number of calls.

Thanks

Can you post some AsteriskCLI output of a call going to an agent?

run these commands:

locate -u (or updatedb if that doesn't work)
locate 20070208-142707_8018281718

I don't see any errors on there, so something else is going on.

I think I figured out the issue... but need help to resolve it.
I switched to using SIP rather than IAX.

Now what is happening is this: I log into the dialer, it rings the phone I am logging in with, I answer it... I hear, you are the only person in this conference. Then I click on resume on the web page. The dialer dials my cell phone (entry in the campaign list). I answer the cell phone. I cannot hear anything from either phone. I speak into my agents phone, I do not hear it on my cell... I speak into my cell, nothing heard on the agent phone.

After just a few seconds, the call is dropped and hung up.

Here is the output:
Connected to Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r48356M currently running on dialer (pid = 2846)
Verbosity is at least 3

That's most likely the SIP/Local channel resolution issue. It is common when using SIP trunks.

There are two ways to fix it, and the easiest one is changing the extensions.conf entries for 8365 to the following:
(basically just adding the sip-silence Playback in fron of the first entry)

exten => 8365,1,Playback(sip-silence)
exten => 8365,2,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => 8365,3,AGI(agi-VDADtransfer.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => 8365,4,AGI(agi-VDADtransfer.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => 8365,5,Hangup

Then go to the Asterisk CLI and "extensions reload", and try dialing again.

Did you reload after making the changes?

I don't see the Playback being executed.

Please post some transfer AGI output from the agiout logfile.

Looks like you are altering CallerIDname somewhere.

Do you have any SetCallerID entries in your extensions.conf file?

I have searched all over the extensions.conf and do not see anything where I would have added custom caller id. I am setting caller id in the campaign screen of the vicidial/admin.php, but that is all.

here is the portion of the dialplan for outbound LD dialing that would apply to the number the campaign is dialing to:

; dial a long distance outbound number
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(call_log.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,n,Dial(SIP/CMG_peer/${EXTEN:1})
;exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,n,Dial(IAX2/REC_SERVER_External_Dialer:spherous456@10.0.1.189/${EXTEN:1},,tTo)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,n,Hangup

you need the 'o' flag on your Dial statement.

Looks like it's on the one you have commented out, but not the one that is active.
