That's most likely your problem, try getting an x100P timer and your meetme issues should be fixed.

What version of Asterisk are you using?

I usually recommend the cards on x100p.com, but that one should work fine.

I'm having the same issue and I'm using a TE405P which I believe overrides the use of ztdummy. Could my system be using ztdummy instead of the card? How would I check that?

I don't see ztdummy in that list. Did you compile zaptel with ztdummy support?

question

Postby choker » Fri Feb 09, 2007 12:26 pm

i'm having the same issue - using ztdummy as well.

maybe a dumb question but if i install the X100P FXO PCI card will i still be required to plug a live phone line into it to provide the timing?

Nope, the X100P doesn't have to have anything hooked up to it. All you need from it is it's timer chip.

I'm having the same issue with a TE405P as well. Sometimes it plays nice for days and then out of the blue will spam the console indefinitely or sometimes it will stop spamming the console randomly. Doesn't seem to impact load avg much or impede on the dialing process.

I have seen this with our TE405P cards as well, it only seems to happen when manual dialing is going on, and usually then only when they are dialing an impossible number or there are no lines to dial out on.

I have seen some posted bug fixes for somewhat related things in Asterisk 1.2.15, so I plan on trying that to see if there is a similar problem with the new release.
