Archive Server Change HTTP LINK

Hi,

Vicibox 3.1.15
VERSION: 2.6-365a
BUILD: 120420-1620

I have setup my archive server and every things working fine. But now I am thinking of changing the IP Address of the Archive Server from private to public. I am not sure how to change this, I have change some settings under Admin > Servers > Server ID > Recording Web Link, from server IP to alternate or external server IP (I input the public IP under alternate recording and external server ip field) but are not working. I even change the VARHTTP_path => public ip, under /etc/astguiclient.conf but no luck.

Update:
i am looking for some script and encounter this one /usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_update_archive_url.pl
the problem now is I do not know how to use this. already tried
/usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_update_archive_url.pl 192.168.4.18 61.xxx.xxx.xxx but no luck

a few assumptions required to answer your question. let's get rid of one of them ...

did you use the ftp-transfer crontab to move these recordings to your archive server?

have you checked the recording table to see what the entries there look like? the script in question merely executes a mysql query to make the alteration ... this can be done manually once you determine what you want changed. having a direct look is often a good way to find out.

btw, am now looking with AST_CRON_audio_4_ftp2.pl script, do u happen to know the difference between astguiclient/AST_CRON_audio_3_ftp.pl?

This is for creating a backup of the data sent to the archive server. execute with --help for instructions.
