Urgent help needed please

Hi. Everything has been running fine for a few weeks now, but earlier today for some reason we stopped being able to make outbound calls via GA.
SIP Show Peers is now showing "Node4/084541332** 83.166.160.*** N 5060 UNREACHABLE "

I've checked with my SIP provider and they say there are no problems their end. If I register my Zoiper client directly with my SIP provider I can make calls no problems. I've restarted the server but still having no luck.

Why would it stop connection to my SIP provider when nothing has changed?

Any help gratefully received as I have call centre agents now sat around not able to work.

make sure internet is working in your server

ping google.com and see whether it is pinging or not.
check the iptables , if any one made a entry to block the voip provider ip or sip ports

Hi Striker.

I can ping websites and browse the internet just fine. As far as I'm aware no changes have been made to the box as I'm the one who looks after it, however, can you tell me what and how to look for that please? I'm a total noob to linux. I have reset the firewall in GA back to default just in case but made no difference.

The router has had no changes made to it, I can register a softphone directly with Node4 (my SIP provider) so there is no routing issue anywhere.

post the sip settings you have entered in the carrier settings.

try to do a reload in asterisk or simply reboot the server.
ask your provider again if something has been changed.
does your router got automatic updates or something stupid like that?
login to your server en try to ping the address to your provider, the registration address.

I've rebooted the server, still my SIP channel is unavailable. My router is just a BT Business Hub.

I have done some further testing. Using Zoiper as a softphone and configuring it with my registration details I can make 1 or 2 calls before getting the error:

13:40:24 Line 1 : outgoing call to '07989327933'
13:40:24 Line 1 : failed (bearercapability notauth)

I then have to unregister and register the Zoiper softphone. I am almost convinced that it's either a BT issue or its a Node4 issue. I am convinced that nothing has changed on my router, nothing has changed on my GA server.

Here are my SIP settings anyway:

I've reset my router and reprogrammed it and all looks like it's working again.
