i download zaptel.tar.gz
i did tar gvz zaptel-xxxx.tar.gr
when i did mobprod zaptel
FATAL : zaptel module not found

the zappel is incopatible with the system i passed by this step there is the doicument very usefull to it's call 'vicidial_for_Dopmmies_20100331.pdf ' fallow it it's very usefull and install the ubuntu server 8.004

what's lead_id mean is it the id of the (client,costumer, caller .....) which will be set in the databese ???

is the table phone mean the agent phone or the client phone ??

Don't start looking in the database until you know the vicidial-system good enough.

Explore the vicidial admin-interface, use google-translate if you dont know what some words mean.
go to "admin" -> "phones", read the manual how to add a phone and do so.
then if you look in the phones-tables you will see the phone you created and you will then know what that table if for.

You wont learn anything if you ONLY look in the database!

I would suggest startin by looking up what the term EPOCH means. It is a VERY common term for linux boxes. Like DomeDan says..., don't try to understand database fields of programming fields if you don't already master the web GUI and are knowledgeable of Linux as a System Administrator. If you skip those 'steps' you will have TONS of questions and you may even screw-up your server...
