I recently rebuilt my dialer using GoAutoDial 2.1. Brand new install with all new data. One carrier, one ingroup.
When someone calls my dialer and none of my agents are available it records the voicemail as it should and emails it to me. The problem is that the "From" part of the email body isn't the callerid phone number anymore. Instead it appears to be the calleridname rather than the callerid. See the example below in red:
Dear Main box for inbound voice mail:
Just wanted to let you know you were just left a 0:25 long message (number 2)
in mailbox 895623 from Y619094333000028XXXX, on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 09:44:39 AM so you might
want to check it when you get a chance. Thanks!
This makes it really tough for my customer to call the person back if they don't leave a valid phone number in the voicemail. If I look at /var/log/astguiclient/agiout it appears as though agi-VDAD_ALL_inbound.agi is changing the callerid to the calleridname which I think is standard but nothing changes it back to the callerid before it's emailed to me.
Here's the line from the log file:
2012-06-19 09:43:33|09:43:33|agi-VDAD_ALL_inbound.agi|callerID changed: "Y619094333000028XXXX <801277XXXX>"
I've tried changing the contents of /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf but it doesn't seem to make any difference as I think by the time the system is emailing me the voicemail the callerid and calleridname are one and the same.
