Assign Agents to lists

Postby MarketResearch » Thu Jun 28, 2012 3:45 pm

Is it possible that, in a campaign with multiple lists, agents can be assigned to specific lists?

No, but you can assign specific leads to specific agents or groups of agents if you are doing manual dialing.

Consider this situation:

We are calling New York City to conduct a political poll. The city as you know has 5 boroughs. In order for the poll to legitimately collect the opinion of voters in NYC we have to proportionality dial each borough based on numerous factors including but not limited to; population, age, race, land-line, cell phone, etc... For this example lets consider that we just have to dial proportionality based on borough and population. This would mean for this job we need either 5 lists on 1 campaign or 5 campaigns. Here is where the problems begin.

Ideally we would like to be able to assign groups of agents to lists on a single campaign. We would also like to be able to view which agents are on which lists and have the ability for a supervisor to freely move agents from list to list. Also we need to be able to control the dialing ratio of lists to dial at a higher or lower ratio. We would like a setup that at least resembles this however, we would also be happy with a work around.

Setting up each "list" as a campaign has several problems. There are jobs where we can have up to 50 lists. Sample/Leads are often redistributed, lists are combined or removed. Management is extremely difficult, a supervisor has to ensure each agent logs into the right campaign, effectively monitoring this many campaigns is impossible, reports have to be constantly parsed and combined and setting up the campaigns becomes extremely time consuming.

As you can tell these are major issues for our company and market research companies alike. VICIdial is a great system and would become exponentially more powerful and valuable to market research companies if we could implement these kinds of features.

Can you help us utilize or design the system in such a way that would meet these needs?
