Incoming calls phone number problem

Postby mumin37 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 2:57 am

Hello,

I've got a problem with missing incoming calls . Missed calls are saved to the list. Incoming phone numbers are saved in this way: {country_code}{9 digit number}, for example 0048123456789, where 0048 is country code, and 123456789 is real number. Is there possibility to have these numbers saved to the list without country code ?

Why is it so problematic for me ? When I want to call back to the number saved in this list, I simply can't because my dial prefix is configured to have only 9 digit number in phone_number field.

Is it possible to make it working? If so, let me know :)

My configuration:

ViciBox 3.14 from .iso,
Vicidial: VERSION: 2.4-338a
BUILD: 110923-2043

DID Settings:

Clean CID Number - This field allows you to specify a number of digits to restrict the incoming caller ID number to by putting an R in front of the number of digits, for example to restrict to the right 10 digits you would enter in R10. You can also use this feature to remove only a leading digit or digits by putting an L in front of the specific digits that you want to remove, for example to remove a 1 as the first digit you would enter in L1. Default is empty. If more than one rule is specified make sure you separate them with a space and the R will run before the L.

Have you read the manual? I admit it's not a quick simple read, but it does have A LOT of information in it if you get the Full Version from The Vicidial Group.

It's also possible to modify your dialplan to allow any known pattern to succeed.

If you post the Asterisk CLI output from a failed return call (just the "dial" portion of the call, showing what the entire number with dial prefix etc looks like ... and be sure to alter the last few digits to 5555 to keep said number private) someone here can probably create a dialplan that will succeed. Also helpful to post your existing dialplan (so we have a working model for your environment as a target!). And you also need to confirm that your Provider will allow calls to that country if you have not done so, along with the dial pattern you'll need to call that country.
