My list is really outdated (i suspect older then 7-8 yrs old, as this is the number that keeps coming up when asking when the old owners were) and I was wondering whether I was hitting.So is this normal? I have heard the figure that for every 4 calls, only 1 owner is going to pick up for small businesses but having only 85 or so people talking to my agent in a day is still kind of depressing.

There really is no "normal", but you'd have to describe the "type" of list (small business? in-home businesses? plumbers? lawyers?) and whether it was purchased or "left over" from an actual prior client list.

that being said: if it was a cheap purchased old business list, it WAS indeed normal.
