hello experts ,
is it possible on goautodial 2.0 to talk only with the agent while he is on communication and custummer dont hear what i m saying to the agent ?
i tryed barge but it doesnt work.

is chanspy compatible with goautodial 2.0 if ok where and how to install ?
or is there any feature already installed in goautodial 2.0 for whispering ?

1) Welcome to the party! 8-)

2) Do not "bump" your own thread. I check UNANSWERED posts first and you answered your own post. LOL So five days later I got around to checking because you answered your own question (but actually asked the same question twice!). You could have edited the original entry if you wanted to modify it, then it would have remained unanswered and been answered a couple days ago ... (I doubt I'm the only one who checked unanswered posts, too, so you may have gotten an answer the same day!)

3) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

4) Goautodial is merely the "installer" for Vicidial and Asterisk. Vicidial does not utilize chanspy at all, however Asterisk 1.4 does have that capability. What this means to you is that you can use chanspy if you are using asterisk 1.4 (no specs posted by you so I'll "assume" you are using asterisk 1.4). But this would be handled outside Vicidial or in "Custom" dialplan entries in Vicidial. Remember, if you try, that the meetme room that the client is in does not have any chanspy/whisper/coaching capabilities, but the leg of the call that belongs to ONLY the agent can be used for this purpose.

5) You should seriously consider requesting this on the Vicidial "Feature" board and creating an Issue in theVicidial Issue Tracker (and posting a link to the Issue in your Feature request) along with offering to Sponsor the feature. I think it would be an excellent addition to Vicidial and could easily be added to the Real Time screen along with Barge and Monitor ("Coach" :) ). Or just pay someone to add it and then post the code after (we could help with that, of course ...).
