Disposition problem???

Postby Cj4life24 » Wed Aug 08, 2012 12:55 pm

I have certain dispositions that should in my eyes pull a number out of the dialer to never be called again. So my problem is that some of the dispositions ie: SALE CALLBK, and Not qualified dispos should mark the number or lead to not be called again. I found out today that even if a call is dispoed as a SALE it will still be called again. i need to try and get some help as to how i can set the dispos only certain ones to pull the lead out to not be called again. i only have one status group and that is the default. My problem with the call back hold dispo is that it is not holding them for the user. If i dispo a call as cbhold the agent dont get to set time and date for call back and it will not go into their callback list. So i created a CALLBK dispo so they can get a calendar but it does not seem to hold them as user only. Anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

you should read the manual regarding callbacks. you should not have created a callbk dispo, but you should have activated agent only callbacks on each user record and allowed callbacks in the campaign. agents should not be able to choose calback hold, that's an internal function used to hold callbacks until their time has come.

if leads that are dispo'd as "SALE" are being called again, and you do not have "SALE" as a dialable status on the campaign, turn off lead recycling. reset the list instead of using lead recycling. and read some more posts on the topic, they may be interesting.

Welcome to the party! 8-) (good job posting your specs, but I do not think you are running SuSE 11.2 ... just sayin' ...)

oki think i understand. i will add SALE to the Dialable staus for the campaigns. I do have use only call backs set to 1 for each user. I also have it active in each campaign. Agents can not use cbhold i made it not agent selectable. so i will see what it does today

Adding sale to dialable statuses is a BAD idea. turn off call recycling, that's a good idea. removing sale from all dialable statuses would be good (it should never be dialable unless you are making QC calls to sales!)

GOTCHA, I relized i miss typed the Sale as a Dialabe status. I removed it as a dialable status and it seem to stop the calling of sales. it was marked a dialable in a few campaigns. I do have lead recycle off. This seemed to stop the calls to certian dispositions.
