Excecuting a shell script from campaign

Postby cbsys » Wed Sep 05, 2012 9:11 am

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to execute a shell script after a campaign has finished dialling
e.g. when hopper level has reached zero, or when there is no dialling because no agents are logged in

We want our system to email an administrator to notify them that the campaign has stopped

There is currently no feature that does what you describe.

Not on the front end no,
but is there one of the pl scripts which run in the background which can be edited to invoke something?

I'm sure you could write something that would look for certain conditions, but there really is no trigger for the "end of a campaign" currently in the code.

With lead recycling and call times, a campaign could be done one minute and back up and running the next.

we've written this for a couple clients in various ways. simplest is a php script that checks every 1 or 5 minutes and resets if empty (and still within calling times).
