Updating backend database

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way when a user actions a lead through the Vicidial Web Client I can update a backend mysql database with the disposition?

Most of our clients use the Dispo Call URL for this, you just have to write a webpage that will take the lead data and dispo(status) and use it to update your system.

Thanks for the reply mflorell that's great! Do you know of a way of updating the internal database without the agent dispositioning the call? i.e for the autodial no answers?

That's what the No Agent URL is for.

Sorry for all the questions but in my campaign settings I only see Start Call URL: and Dispo Call URL: fields there's no No Agent URL field

You would need to upgrade to 2.4 rc2 or a more recent svn/trunk version to get that feature. The version of vicidial you are using is over 18 months old.

Thanks for that, as I'm running GoAutoDial would updating Vicidial via SVN have any knock on effect for the rest my setup?

svn upgrade (done properly, according to the UPGRADE document supplied in the SVN source folder ...) will not break any vicidial functionality.

it may, however, impact some goautodial functions and WILL require you to use the vicidial screens instead of the old goautodial screens (which are not upward compatible).
