I'm using vicibox 3.1.15 64. I tried to assign static ip address cox every time I turn it on it kepts on changing its IP (lot of computer in my network).and when it changes, the common response when you login to the agent web "Sorry, there are no available sessions". The problem is everytime I set it up to static ip it's no longer connected to the internet.hoping someone would help me.

Are you inside a local network where you control the DHCP-server?
if not, then you need to talk with your provider,
or you can try to setup a domain-name with dyndns or something

yes I am inside the network.I need to have specific static ip for vici server just like what i did for elextic. But it seems too complicated than I thought.

Sorry I need to rephrase my question, are the server on LAN or WAN?

It is connected on lan.I have also static internet connection.the problem is with my network ip, it's kept on jumping from one IP to another it deepens which is ON first.I've read about this kind of problem with suse in the forum every time they assigned static ip can't connect in the internet anymore.hope you can give me light on this.

thanks for trying to help me out but I think I got it.Yeah suse is quite different to configure you have to fill in all the blanks...

ok, well if its on LAN then you just need to configure your router to let the server get the same ip every time
