strange behaviour

let`s say that we have the following scenario:
i have 2 agents logged into the system in autodial mode.
The asterisk is starting to place calls to the clients from database, and the clients phones start to ring, but before the clients answer to the phones both of my agents press the logout button.
So then the client answer the phone i have no aggent logged in.
What will happen then?
i`ve made some tests with this scenario and i saw that the vicidial try to reach the voicemail extension, and then a strange things happen, i mean that my server palce a call to the client and when the client answer the server put the client on musiconhold.

for testing purposes i had made some modifications in the dialplan :

exten => _X.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _X.,2,Dial(SIP/asip)
exten => _X.,3,Hangup

and this

(i don`t want to use voicemail )

i have to comments those lines to fix the callback and musiconhold problem described in the begining of this topic.

and another problem is the next one :
immediatly after an agnet log into the system, vicidial stat calling clients. So far so good, but if the client answer the system hangs up the phone (the phone isnt`t transfered to the agent ) and in database we have status NA and user VDAD.

for the first part i think you can set voicemail extension in campaign edit screen ( put that extension number in voicemail part but keep the dialplan to hang it instead of voicemail but i am not sure though .. you should try it out :) )

For the second part .. are u sure it's happening on every call ? Post ur extensions.conf dialplan for outgoing call settings .

Looks like you are messing with the callerIDname, which breaks VICIDIAL.

well i added to to my DIAL command and now it seems that work

exten => _X.,2,Dial(SIP/asip,40,to)

That's the point, you should not be altering CallerID(name or number) in any way or VICIDIAL will not work.

Make sure you don't have any extensions in your dialplan or AGI scripts that do anything to alter the CID.
