custom user not created

Hi Matt and Guys , I have noticed the latest SVN versions of vicidial doesn't automatically create the user custom anymore, is this a recent change? I already have deployed several servers starting with version 2.6-377a onwards and I have noticed that the custom user is not created anymore by the install.pl script

your going off topic, i am not a g729 reseller, its just part of my service to install g729 if the client plans to purchase g729

What does the "custom" user do? Perhaps they found a way to accomplish the task without the user ...

the standard install.pl script usually creates the custom user on the mysql database which has rights to the asterisk server which is mainly used for the custom fields, Im just wondering why in the recent versions its not automatically created, but its not an issue since its just easy to create a user on the mysql for the vicidial db

but the question is whether this is in any way necessary. as in: if it is used for the custom fields ... do the custom fields work without it. if so, then it may no longer be necessary.

alternately, the install.pl script may no longer perform this task as it expects this task to be performed during Vicibox install, as opposed to "upgrading" which is more of what the install.pl is used for these days ...

or it could be a bug. LOL

The install.pl script never created MySQL users, only the configuration entries in the conf file for them, and it still does that.
