by troubleshooting the difference between a call that does not work properly and one that does work properly.
using the asterisk command line (possibly in debug mode) and also considering other conditions.
is your network overloaded? your server? what is going on that would account for the difference?
I've found in some situations that problems like this go unresolved because they only happen when the room is SuperBusy ... and that can they happen BECAUSE the room is superbusy (overloaded cpu or internet ...), which is a catch22 situation. you'll never fix it because you're always too busy to troubleshoot when it happens.
