No call audio

No call audio

Hi. We've been running this install (see my signature for details) for several months now and all has been running well. Half way through this morning the audio for the call has just stopped working. All other audio still works, i.e "You are the only person in this conference" and all the dial and hang up beeps, but the moment you would expect to hear the phone ringing, being answered etc we've got no audio.

Any ideas what could be wrong?? Nothing has changed and like I say, everything was working up until about 1.45pm today.

have you rebooted?
changed carriers to see if the problem is not on your end?

I've rebooted and also fully shutdown. If I bypass the call center server and register my softphone directly with the carrier I get full audio, if I register my softphone with the call center server and dial out I get no audio. This is really odd as nothing server wise has changed.

so change carriers as a test as i suggested in case the softphone connects in a different way. unless you have a feeling that you are wrong about not changing anything.

and as a rule half way audio is firewall related. it can also be related (upon occasion) to the sip.conf externip setting.
