Admin to change campaign for agents?

Postby brucem » Fri Nov 30, 2012 12:21 pm

Vicibox v 3.1.12 | Vicidial 2.6-382a Build 121116-1410 | Asterisk 1.4.21.2 | OpenSuse 11.3| Cluster: 1 DB Server, 1 web server, 8 vici-asterisk | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software

Does the feature in the administrator menu Users->UserStatus work to allow changing "Current Campaign"? The "CHANGE" button is deactivated. Is this because the feature needs to be enabled or does not work? I could not find in mantis that anyone was working on this feature. Thanks :)

It does not work, there are too many campaign-specific features that influence the agent interface enabled-disabled features that making it work on the fly would be extremely complex to build.

The best solution for this to date has been logging an agent out and then back in quickly using the API and Javascript refresh.

They loaded vicidial.php in an IFRAME and used their own Javascript to log the agents into the different campaign after API logout without agents having to do anything.
