Goautodial 2.1 - Sorry, there are no available sessions

Postby root2 » Fri Aug 19, 2011 7:39 am

Hi All!

I have just installed goautodial ver 2.1 (from scratch). I already did the following and also followed the steps in the "Getting Started Guide" and was able to manually dial out from another computer (soft phone connected to the server). But when I tried logging to the agent interface it's saying "Sorry, there are no available sessions".

I have already done the following:

1.Changed IP
2.Configured voip carrier
3.Created the Campaign and softphone extensions.
4.Created the a list and uploaded leads.

Seats: 5

Voip: Novatel

Hardware:
Intel Dual Core
2gig memory
500gig HD
Single lan

I hope this helps!

Admin->Conferences->Show VICIDIAL Conferences

Are they there? (8600051->8600299) and are they assigned to the correct IP address?

First of all, I'd like to thank you so much for you help William.

I went to the vici conference on the admin panel and it should only 8600001 has an assigned ip and the rest are still in the default (192.168.1.2).

How do I go about in changing it? also, I already tried logging in to the agent interface and was able to log in but not connecting to eyebeam 1.5 (i don't hear "your the only in this conference" or even a ring). Just the agent screen and some of the errors listed below.

*There is a time synchronization problem with your system, please tell your system administrator - (Server is already set to NY-EST)

*Logged in as User: agent002 on Phone: SIP/8002 to campaign: 115
*No one is in your session: 8600001

ON THE ADMIN PANEL (Vici Conference)
CONFERENCE SERVER IP EXTENSION MODIFY
8600001 192.168.1.105 SIP/8002 MODIFY
8600051 192.168.1.2 MODIFY

Things done already
-Updated IP adress on the admin panel
-Changed server IP in admin/phones
-Eyebeam registering and can manual dial out and can connect to other extensions.
-Created campaign
-Loaded leads in csv format (comma delimited)--> it's shows as dialable leads but no leads in the hopper (already set to 24 hours and also tried force reset).

STATUS STATUS NAME CALLED NOT CALLED
NEW New Lead 0 91

This campaign has 0 leads in the dial hopper.

I hope all these would help solve my problem. Thanks again!

Look in the Getting Started Guide in the GoAutoDial Wiki for instructions on changing the IP address.

You can also use the script for changing the IP address provided in the Vicidial scripts folder:

Code: Select all
cd /usr/share/astguiclient
perl ADMIN_update_server_ip.pl

Then you will need to enter both the old and new IP addresses. Run it once for each "old" address that may have been used. It does not hurt to run this script more than once, or to run it with an IP the server never actually had. In case you aren't sure ... run it one time for each "possible" IP.

I have the same problem like @root2
I checked Admin > Conference > Show conference > Show VICIDIAL Conference and I can't change to my default IP address. When I click to modify > change IP and click submit > VICIDIAL CONFERENCE MODIFIED: 8600051 but again under Show vicidial conference I don't see changes.(server ip and extension is empty!)
I have been change default IP to my IP , also I run above script to change IP but nothing.
When I try to login with:
Phone login: 8021
Phone password:goautodial
User login:myagent021
Pass login:goautdial
choose campaign:my campaign
and click LOGIN, my softphone ringing (incoming call from: S110829120101) and when I answered I have got voice message:
"I am sorry that is not valid extension, please try again"
My CLI shows me the following
Code: Select all
[Aug 29 12:06:51]   == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/manager.conf': [Aug 29 12:06:51] Found
[Aug 29 12:06:51]   == Manager 'sendcron' logged on from 127.0.0.1
[Aug 29 12:06:57]        > Channel SIP/8021-00000013 was answered.
[Aug 29 12:06:57]   == Starting SIP/8021-00000013 at default,,1 failed so falling back to exten 's'
[Aug 29 12:06:57]   == Starting SIP/8021-00000013 at default,s,1 still failed so falling back to context 'default'
[Aug 29 12:06:57]     -- Sent into invalid extension 's' in context 'default' on SIP/8021-00000013
[Aug 29 12:06:57]     -- Executing [i@default:1] Playback("SIP/8021-00000013", "invalid") in new stack
[Aug 29 12:06:57]     -- <SIP/8021-00000013> Playing 'invalid' (language 'en')
[Aug 29 12:06:59]   == Manager 'sendcron' logged off from 127.0.0.1
[Aug 29 12:07:01]   == Auto fallthrough, channel 'SIP/8021-00000013' status is 'UNKNOWN'
[Aug 29 12:07:01]     -- Executing [h@default:1] DeadAGI("SIP/8021-00000013", "agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log--HVcauses--PRI-----NODEBUG-----16---------------") in new s

I also tried with another phone and user login but always I have the same problem.!? I created campaign , lists and load leads strictly according Manager Manual. In Campaigns > "my campaign" > shows me that is everything fine (note: I loaded only one leads for testing)
Code: Select all
This campaign has 1 active lists and 0 inactive lists

SHOW LEAD STATUSES IN THIS CAMPAIGN

This campaign has 1 leads to be dialed in those lists - HIDE

This campaign has 1 leads in the dial hopper

update the server ip

Postby striker » Mon Aug 29, 2011 12:31 pm

hi

after changing the goautodial default ip192.168.1.2 to your another ip you need to run the update script.

go to goautodial admin page SYSTEM/NETWORK under drop down select UPDATE DATABASE IP

in oldserver ip select the ip from the drop down
in the new server ip enter your current server ip and press go

once done reboot the server
then login to the goautodial vicidail admin and check wether conference nos took the current server ip as serverip.

still it is not updated with the current server ip then run the below command in linux console

/usr/share/goautodial/ADMIN_update_server_ip.pl

enter the old ip and new ip detials

after that check the vicidal conference server ip.

if still it is not shows the server ip for the conferences then follow the below method

1.in linux console type mysql -p
2. password:vicidialnow
3. mysql>use asterisk
4. mysql >UPDATE conferences SET server_ip='your current serverip' where server_ip='';
5. mysql>UPDATE vicidial_conferences SET server_ip='your currentserverip' where server_ip='';
6. quit

note : replace the you current server ip to your server ip address
for eg if ur server ip is 10.10.10.100
then
use mysql>UPDATE conferences SET server_ip='10.10.10.100' where server_ip='';

Goautodial only worked for a week

Postby root2 » Thu Sep 08, 2011 7:50 pm

My goautodial 2.1 only worked for a week then it won't distribute calls or dials It only shows ringing and no calls coming to the agents.

After I did a fresh install and did not change the default ip 192.168.1.2 everything worked until today.

Here are the errors on the logs

apparently you had three calls, but only showed the start of two of them, and one of them answered, but they were all the same number. interesting.

how about this: put YOUR CELL PHONE in as a single number (the only number in a list) and just have the system call that one number with no other activity. see what the result (and CLI output) are from that attempt. (of course, you can change the phone number dialed to 5555555555 before posting!)

hello everyone

i have also faced same problem and finally problem got solved

session cannot create is just due to wrong time set on ur linux machine. i used centos and after so many changes it wasnt solved then i change time by running this command on superuser cmd-->date today date

here is the explanation to set date in centos
root@servername ~]# date

Output will be like Tue Aug 23 12:32:22 EDT 2011

Now to set the desired date/time use the same date command with an argument of your required date/time as following format;
date MMDDhhmmYYYY

MM – Two digits of month (e.g. 08)
DD – Two digits of day of month (e.g. 24)
hh – Two digits of hour 24 hours format (e.g. 22)
mm – Two digits of minutes (e.g. 40)
YYYY – Four digits of year (e.g. 2011)

So, to set a date/time for 24th August 2011, 10:40 PM you may run the command as below

[root@servername ~]# date 082422402011

finally i restart everything and then i log in and wipeeeeeeeeeeeeee session available and agent successfully log in

any query send me mail -->rrrohitraj0 on my gmail id

if you had to create a conference, then there was something wrong with your installation. perhaps you should start over and watch for errors during installation.

when you change your ip, you are expected to use the admin server ip update script to modify the ip in all the necessary locations. if you change them one at a time it could take you a few weeks to find them all.

goautodial has a "menu item" that is expected to run this script for you, but vicibox just shows the script on the ssh splash screen so you can easily run in manually at any time without having to look it up. it requires a reboot after running anyway, so being in ssh is handy.

If the conference IPs were not changed, you need to run that script. DID you run that script? At the command line?

Having one conference available is not likely to make you happy. And what other items were missed by whatever method you used?

Did you verify astguiclient.conf has the correct IP? (which would be set by the update server ip script, of course).

DO run the script now. Run it with every "old" IP address this server may have had (it won't hurt to run it extra times). Reboot when done.

Then read the manual available at EFLO.net. Start at page one and do not skip ANYTHING. Seriously. When you are done with this Free Manager's Manual for this Free software, you'll have a functional system and will not have spent any money except for the VOIP provider (try Vitelity.com for a good carrier, but VOIPStreet.com has a lower "first payment" of $10).
