intel X79 chipset compatibility

Hi to all... i am planning to install vicidial on a server based on I7 3930 cpu and ASUS X79 motherboard. Initially our plan is to get XEON server but the waiting time to purchase here in our country is really terrible. is there any chance that i will have incompatibility issues with X79 chipset? TIA

If it has been available to the US public for over a year, you should be good. If not ... check to see if OpenSuSE has drivers available for the chipset and if there are other OpenSuSE users. The last Vicibox 4.0 release was not that long ago ...
