64 bit installation

Goautodial Scratch CentOS 64bit | GoAutoDial 2.1 | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel Core i 5 with 8 GB ram.

I am having an issue, i installed goautodial from as per instruction (http://goautodial.org/projects/goautodialce/wiki/64bit ) successfully one week ago ( 20th Jan 2013 )but when i am trying to install it today facing the below problem issue.

I used the centos 5.8 last time but with the same centos 5.8 can not install it now as per instruction.

Can any one advice.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.

I would try to downgrade/ or upgrade my kernel to the required version first.

kernel-x86_64 = 2.6.18-308.16.1.el5

centos 5.8 got the same kernel kernel-x86_64 = 2.6.18-308 but when i run the below command i get this error.

4. Install Asterisk and Dahdi packages

yum install asterisk asterisk-perl dahdi-linux kmod-dahdi-linux \
asterisk-sounds-core-en-alaw asterisk-sounds-core-en-gsm asterisk-sounds-core-en-ulaw \
asterisk-sounds-extra-en-alaw asterisk-sounds-extra-en-gsm asterisk-sounds-extra-en-ulaw


can you kindly advice.

Sorry, I don't see an error. I see a list of packages to be installed with yum, but I do not see the result of that command.

yum install xxx yyy zzz will install packages xxx yyy and zzz. So you have a list of packages to install ... what happened after you executed this command?

you wrote that you have:

kernel-x86_64 = 2.6.18-308

but it asked for

kernel-x86_64 = 2.6.18-308.16.1.el5

Those are not the same. You will also need to reboot after you alter your kernel before continuing.
