Assign lists to user groups in same campaign

Postby cagee » Thu Jan 24, 2013 12:44 pm

Hello,

I'm trying to assign specific lists to user groups in the same campaign so that our agents are unaware that they are in different 'list groups'. We have thought about creating a new campaign, but then agents will be able to see that their available campaign name has changed. We also want our real time report to be on the same screen. The concept here would be that we could move lists between our different groups without them ever knowing so that we best utilize the data.

Let me know if I need to explain myself more or if there is already a setting for this that I am just missing.

Thanks!

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) Do you really want to exclude certain users from certain lists or "prefer" them? Have you looked at Ranking for the agents?

3) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

4) Territories are available, although we've never utilized them. Matt has mentioned that they do work (The Vicidial Group has configured territories for several call centers). You could certainly try to configure it yourself and ask for help if you hit a snag.

1. Thanks for havin me :D

2. I wouldn't say we want to "prefer" specific agents (such as with the Ranking of agents), we actually would like to assign lists directly. Our call center is expanding dramatically so we have about a 50/50 ratio of new trainees/experienced because we have hired so much recently. We are also getting some more "quality" leads that we are purchasing and we don't want our new trainees burning through them. The issue comes with the fact that we don't want agents to know that they are getting the "lesser" (same that we've always had) leads and blame the data instead of making the sales. And then ideally we'd like to be able to move them into the "better" lists as they become more comfortable on the phones.

3. My apologies: Vicibox 3.1.15 from .iso | Vicidial 2.6-390a Build 121212-1529 | Asterisk 1.4.38/VICI | Server Cluster | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

4. As far as territories, are those only geographical or can they be defined by lists? I'm unfamiliar with the use of those outside of some examples I've found with people only wanting to dial on certain zip, state, etc.

I really appreciate your help!

Hello there,

I think 'owner only dialling' is what you are looking for - But I'm not used to it so I can't tell you more sense full things about it here....

Sorry I should mention that we use hopper dialing.

I did some research "owner only dialing" and it seemed like that and territory are both only on manual dialing. Is that right? That did sound closer to what I'm looking for, but unless it can autodial we aren't going to be able to go that route.

May be I'm wrong here - but I can't imagine any technical way to do 'owner only dialing' other than to do it manually. I think for my part this couldn't be done predictive in a sense full manner ...

If you search the forums, you will find that territories and autodial have been implemented by The Vicidial Group. When all else fails, you can have the guys who wrote the software make it work properly for you. We'd be happy to try it, but we've never had anyone ask! :)

 Looks like I have to get this German area and postal codes up and running to check it out...

Maybe in the way of next week...

When you get going ... post your solution. If you get 'stuck' post what you have and perhaps we can help you finish. 8-)

dirty solution but its possible

firstly an in-group of experienced agents
and in-group of inexperianced agents

call drop time to -1 seconds (same way call menus work when not using press 1 survey)

Lists can override the drop in group.

have the lists of good data go to experienced in-group
have the lists of bad data go to inexperienced in-group

you will have to rely on in-group stats for this (I think) but its manageable if what you need can't be done via agent ranking.

options you are looking for

Campaign:
Drop Call Seconds: -1

individual lists:
Drop Inbound Group Override: --- SET TO THE INGROUP THAT THE LIST IS DESTINED FOR ---

agent options:
Agent Choose Ingroups:0
Agent Choose Blended:0
Closer Default Blended:1

and finally set your agents into the correct ingroups.
P.s. I have never tested this. just logically it should work.
