Ability to play recorded messages during call

I am new to this forum. I wanted to know if Vicidial has the ability to play recorded messages during calling campaigns so that a perfect pitch or retort to an objection could be played while on the phone with the prospect?

Any guidance would be great!

Funny, I had a client ask that same question earlier today. Nope, not out of the box, that would have to be customized. Something along the lines of uploading recordings with AGENT_CAMPAIGN_name, then have a web in an iFrame that checks agent and campaign and lists the recordings by name and initiates a new agent.api that sends that audio stream into the meetme room of the agent.

I was looking on odesk and found a programmer that could create a dialer from vicidial that does this for $500, let me know what you think about that. That includes installation to a server.

We've had clients that used the D1 Dial and D2 Dial functions to do this. We have also had clients that created IFRAME script tab pages that did this as well.

My quote for the client was under $500 for the prototype. Designed as an iFrame ... and if it works, we could see if it could be included in the /agc/ folder for everyone to use (with specific naming convention instructions ...). Using primarily the naming convention from above and the agent.api (which would have a new entry to play a recording in the agent session).
