How to Balance dialing on multiple campaigns

I have installed Vicidial version:

VERSION: 2.6-393a
BUILD: 130124-1721

Its on a very powerful server with 1 GB port switch and good bandwidth. However, its not able to balance the dialing between multiple campaigns. I have 3-4 campaigns I want to run with a channel capacity of 4000 channels total, but if I start all those 3-4 campaigns, it does not balance the dialing and starts dialing in one campaign and stops the other and so forth. How do I make all the campaigns dial continuously and share the channels?

Are you running on a single server.

How many agents in each campaign and what is the dial ratio.

Have you checked Max Vicidial Trunks: Max Calls per Second: under servers in admin.php

Yes, I am running a single server

255 agents per campaign (max possible)

Max vicidial trunks = 9999

Calls per sec = 100

Do I need to change this?

discuss calls per sec with your provider. set to the max they allow.

What are your statuses in the campaign under short/fill?

How do I see the status in campaigns? I dont see anything like short/fill?

Commonly referred to as the "Real Time" screen. Two versions: Summary and Individual. Individual will show short/fill when it applies.

In that case it does not believe it is low on trunks. but it may "run out" while trying to dial hard.

Did you:

I placed a ticket to ask them, havent heard back.

So with he higher calls per second, if it is running out of trunks trying to dial hard, would it have this effect? Wouldn't calls per second determine how fast it needs to dial?

when exceeding 1000 channels, 100 calls per second is likely not to be enough.

The provider says we could go up to 500 channels. However I also noticed that we are at over 50% calls with status "Cancel".

So call a few of them and see why they are Cancel. Perhaps your wait for answer timeout is set too low, perhaps you have exceeded your channel limit (which usually results in congestion, not cancel, but different carriers respond differently).

If you call them, your cell phone will tell you why they were canceled, or you'll get a human and find out that there is a problem with the dialer or call path.
