download only certain recordings

Hey there,

I am trying to write a better script so I want to listen to myself.

Only I have 5 hours of recording I made thsi week (and I didn't call a lot).

Is there a way to download only the recordings for certain dispositions (Not interested, call backs, etc)?

I don't want to listen to myself talking to gatekeepers all day.

1) Excellent job posting your specs (I especially like the motherboard remark, LOL, although it is often in the /proc/ directory somewhere)

2) I can think of two obvious possible solutions:

First: A script designed to move recordings based on dispo, could be modified to move more than one OR just run more than one time (for each desirable dispo)

Second: Quality Control: If you upgrade to a version where quality control is active, that is what it is designed for. You choose the dispositions and it will create a list of leads with that dispo in that campaign and you can wander down the list and click on the recording links without ever leaving Vicidial.

1) System settings: QC Features Active
2) QC Users must have the features activated specifically for them (or they will not see the Quality Control menu!)

What is the best way to write the script? Biggest script I have written was a small spider/scraper , but going down that route seems a bit clumsy.

QC sounds like a real neat feature, but I want to listen to most of the recordings where contact with a prospect was made so I don't want to click all of them individually.

The script already exists. It is in /usr/share/astguiclient

Just have to modify it. Hope you like perl programming.

Request that someone create a "Listen all" button to put at the top of the recordings column. All things are possible. (notice how well I avoided calling you a lazy bum there ... )
