Port Forwarding - Asterisk Firewall

Postby acevici » Fri Mar 01, 2013 12:26 pm

Hi.

I have some challenge with regards to asterisk firewall / port forwarding. This router has a different kind of fields to fill up. It asks for a source IP and destination IP, filter set index..

What should I put in the source IP? Still the PC's IP address or the router's?

it also says "0.0.0.0 means Don't Care" so you leave the source as 0.0.0.0 and the dest as your vici server. but you'll need to set the subnet mask for your dest to 255.255.255.0 most likely (or whatever your local network subnet mask is).
